The Runcorn Pied Pipers Majorettes

The Runcorn Pied Pipers Majorettes held their PDA Dance Competition on Saturday 23rd May 2026 at The Heath Business Park in Runcorn, welcoming over 1,000 guests throughout the day. With the sun shining and an incredible atmosphere from start to finish, everyone had an amazing time.

The event was a huge success and raised enough money to allow all of the dancers to attend the Blackpool competition completely free of charge.

The volunteers on the day were outstanding, helping to marshal the event, serve food and refreshments, and keep everything running smoothly. This was the first time in many years that the group had been able to host their own dance show in Runcorn, and it is set to be the first of many.

The Pied Pipers also train twice a week at The Heath, and this event was a real team effort from everyone involved in bringing such a large community event together. We are incredibly proud to support such a fantastic group of volunteers, dancers and parents who work so hard all year round.

Leanne Kirk one of the leaders said “Thank you from the bottom of my heart all money raised will  get all my girls and boy to Blackpool championships at the end of year so no child will miss out due to parents not being able to afford the cost. It felt very much like being at home a Runcorn troupe supported by a Runcorn company 🩷as always Anthony thank you for your continued support to help get children off the streets give them a hobby and away from what ever life is throwing at them”
