The Heath’s Science Centre sits within the heart of the campus and offers both affordable and flexible laboratory and semi-tech space to companies from a variety of business sectors. It is currently home to some of the world’s most innovative organisations; from cancer research, artificial blood and pharmaceutical development to healthcare, environmental research and nano-technology – something ground-breaking happens at The Heath every day.
Companies can occupy existing lab facilities or can create a bespoke space with the help of our highly experienced engineering team. We recognise that in the world of science and technology everyone needs something that little bit different and our team are used to transforming ideas into reality in the most cost-effective way.
All labs are equipped with waste, water and air services. Piped nitrogen and compressed air is available throughout the building and bottled gases can be stored securely in designated external storage.
Fully vented fume cupboards with extract-to-air systems, benching, sinks, emergency shower and write-up areas, if not already existing, can be installed as required. All labs are naturally ventilated with opening windows.
