SOG Ltd established The Heath Business & Technical Park with a clear ambition: to secure the future of a once single-occupancy corporate site at risk of closure and transform it into a sustainable, multi-occupancy business and science park. The aim was to create a long-term regional asset that could adapt to the evolving needs of modern science and business organisations, while retaining high-quality jobs and safeguarding specialist skills on site.
Since acquiring the site in 2000, SOG has successfully regenerated the park, developing The Heath into a thriving environment that supports over 100 companies across a wide range of business sizes and sectors, with a strong focus on science.
