As part of a recent company expansion, we are currently hiring chemists and technicians sat all levels
to join our new production and methodology department in the UK.

Location: Office and labs based in Runcorn, Liverpool, UK

Contract: Permanent, flexible half-day and full-day operations

Compensation: Competitive

Start Date: ASAP

Level: Technician (senior and junior roles – full training provided)

Job description:
LCC is seeking diligent and motivated individuals to join a growing team in our new UK-based R&D
facility. Previous experience, in a technician support role, is desirable but not essential. Full training
will be provided. If you are a conscientious and focused individual who pays attention to detail – then
this is the role for you. You will be working alongside dedicated scientists engaged in the discovery of
potential new medicines.

Job responsibilities:
• Tube barcode labelling and weighing to assist our scientist in setting up experiments.
• Preparation of standard test solutions.
• Ordering and stock management of laboratory consumables.
• General laboratory cleanliness duties and replenishment of instrument consumables.

Profile:
• BSc in chemistry/biology/life sciences & experience for Senior Technician role.
• GCSE or A-level for junior technician roles.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Good time management and interpersonal skills.
• Soft skills: A positive attitude and the willingness to adapt/learn
