CIE SOLUTIONS

CIE Solutions are Functional Safety, Project Delivery & Technical Engineering Consultants working in the Chemical, Petrochem and Oil & Gas sectors at large manufacturing sites across the UK.

The North-West based company had been operating for 15 years with its staff and technicians working from office spaces at the various sites where they carry out projects.

With the company growing, CIE Solutions decided they needed a permanent base to run their business and turned to The Heath Business and Technical Park.

CIE Solutions moved into offices at The Heath in August 2023 with a team of six personnel.  Within 14 months the company has expanded with 20 operatives working from offices at the award-winning business park.

Joanne Keith, Office Manager, says:  “Before moving on to The Heath, we were using premises on a client’s site in Warrington.  With the company expanding, we needed to find a permanent base to work from and The Heath Business and Technical Park provided the ideal solution. The Heath is in a perfect location with excellent transport links.  We have direct access to the M56, M62 and M6 motorways, good rail links to the rest of the country and we are close to two major airports. Our engineers and sub-contractors come from all over England, Scotland and Ireland, so being in such an accessible location is important when they need to spend time in the office.

“We’ve also got access to conference and meeting rooms, a café and a gym – all the kind of facilities you would normally associate with a big business. There’s also the flexibility that we can take more space, as and when we need it, to meet our future plans for growth.

“Another bonus being at The Heath is there are many other businesses based on site who have specialisms that complement our own business, and we have used the services of some of these companies. Then there is the setting! The Heath has lots of open space and nearby parkland and if our staff aren’t using the gym in their down-time, they can go for pleasant walks!”
